Baptist Theological College of Southern Africa Registration Update 2019

Dear Student,

We would like to wish you all the very best for 2019 and trust that God’s hand would rest upon you as you pursue studies this year at a world-class African Seminary! Please read below carefully.

STAFF

At the close of 2019, we bid farewell to Tammy van der Walt, who joined the staff of a Curro School nearby. We’re thankful to the Lord for her service and wish her well. In 2019, we would like to welcome Anel Engelbrecht and Michael du Toit onto our full-time admin staff. Anel will assist in Administration and Finance, and Michael will assist in Resources. May this year be a wonderful one for each of these new staff members.

STUDENT REGISTRATION (*Applies to Full-time Students only)

We’re doing registration a little differently this year and request that 3rd and 4th-year students read the Poster attached entitled, ‘Online Registrations’. However, if ANY 3rd or 4th-year student wants advice on their study progress, they should follow the time allocations by surname below. Kindly note that only second year students will need to go through the formal subject-selection registration process as they select their major, which we will simplify in the following way:

Registration for ALL second-year students opens at 8:30 am and we will register by surname:

A- G:   08:30 – 10:00 AM

H- M: 10:30 – 12:00 PM

N-S:    12:00 – 13:00 PM

T-Z :    13:00- 14:00 PM

FIRST-YEAR PLACED students for the B.TH., B.Bib., H.Cert. & H. Cert. Min. degrees will be registered as PART OF ORIENTATION. ANY other NEW student going into 2-4 year must be registered according to the time allotment above.

We trust that this will help simplify things and that your studies this year will be greatly beneficial.
